Abstract

The efficiency of goat farming mostly depends on the full feeding system of goats
during their growing. The most important factor that determines the speed of development
and formation of the animal body is protein nutrition.
The Inclusion of supplementary feed "Organic" in the ration of Saanen goats in the
amount of 30 g per head per day contributed to the increase in live weight of three months old
animals of 20.67 % (P≤0.001), absolute, daily-average and relative live weight gain of 26.4%
and 29.5 % (P≤0,001), respectively. The increase in width, depth, chest girth and oblique
body length was 10.4; 7.0; 8.4% and 6.1 % (P≤0.05), respectively. The thoracic index of the
body increased in animals of the experimental group by 28.0 % (P≤0.001), index of format –
by 6.0 % (P≤0.05). The live weight of three months old goatlings of the experimental group
was 22.3 kg.
