The article provides data on feeding piglets of Large White breed during the
fattening period with combined feed, which is enriched with high-protein feed additive “Organic”. Scientific research was carried out in OOO Rosinka in the Predgorny District of the
Stavropol Territory. The inclusion of the feed additive “Organiс” in the amount of 4,0 and
6,0% of the mass in the composition of the combined feed made it possible to increase the
metabolic energy in the diet of young pigs by 7,1 and 10,6%, respectively, crude protein –
20,7 and 30,0%, lysine – 12,4 and 18,6%, methionine with cystine – by 8,1 and 12,8%.The
replacement of the mass fraction of combined feed with the feed additive “Organic” contributed to an increase in the live weight of fattening piglets at the age of 6 months by 5,1 and 8,1
kg or 5,3 (P ≤ 0,05) and 8,5%, average daily gains – 65 and 100 g or by 8,9 (P ≤ 0,05) and
13,7% (P ≤ 0,05), hot carcass weight by 6,3 (P≤ 0,05) and 9,8% (P≤ 0,05), the slaughter yield
by 0,8 and 1,5 abs. %, the output of muscle tissue by 0,8 and 1,1 abs. %, the reduction of adipose tissue by 1,2 and 1,8 abs. %, the increase in the mass of the ham by 0,8 and 1,2 kg or 7,5
(P≤ 0,05) and 11,3% (P≤ 0,05), the loin eye area by 0,3 and 0,4 cm2 or 0,9 and 1,17%.The introduction of the feed additive “Organic” in the amount of 4,0 and 6,0% of the mass provided
additional profit in the amount of 546,1 and 836,9 rubles and additional profit per 1 ruble of
feed additive costs – 2,00 and 2,05 rubles.
