EFFECT OF AMILOCIN FEED SUPPLEMENT ON THE DIGESTIBILITY AND UTILIZATION OF NUTRIENTS IN THE WETHER LAMBS DIET OF THE FAT-TAILED BREED

The article presents the results of the study and the influence of different levels of the probiotic feed additive Amilocin on metabolic processes in the body of the wether lambs of the fat-tailed breed. Probiotic feed additive in the composition of the wether lambs diet at meat and fat production direction in the amount of 10 g per head per day, compared with the control analogues, significantly increased the digestibility of dry matter in the diet by 2,84% (p<0,05), organic matter by 2,63% (p<0,05), crude protein by 2,5% (p<0,05), crude fat by 3,17% (p<0,05), crude fiber by 2,92% (p<0,05), and nitrogen-freе extractive substances by 2,49% (p<0,05).
As for the increased dosages of 15 and 20 g per head per day of feed additive in the diet of the second and third experimental groups, they also have a less effect on the digestibility of nutrients compared to the first experimental group. It should also be noted that the degree of nitrogen assimilation from that taken with feed was also high: in the first experimental group compared to the control group by 10,6% (p<0,001), with the second experimental group by 5,5% (p<0,05) and with the third experimental group by 10,06% (p<0,01).
The reason for the decline of digestibility and the use of nutrients in the diet with an excess of amilocin feed additive, is obviously a reduce in secretion in the digestive tract.
Studies conduсtеd have shown that a new probiotic supplement has a noticeable effect on the absorption of minerals in the body of the wether lambs.
Thus, the optimization of the feed additive amount in the diets of animals of the first experimental group contributed to an increase in the amount of phosphorus, calcium and sulfur retained in the body by 0,53 g or 33,3% (p<0,001) compared to control analogues and by the wether lambs from the second experimental group by 0,38 g or by 21,8% (p<0,001) and compared to the third experimental group, which received the maximum amount of amilocin (30 g/head per day) by 0,48 g or by 29,2% (p<0,001).
