STRONGYLATOSES AT GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT AND SHEEP ESTROSIS

The article presents data on the determination of the 0,5%-s’ Ivermectin suspension effectiveness (the formulation and technology of which was developed by us) in case of strongylatoses in gastrointestinal tract and sheep estrosis, parasitic diseases that have been combined for several months in the summer-autumn period. The experiment was conducted on the basis of the sheep breeding farm of the Rus APC (collective farm), the village of Filimonovskaya in the Izobilnensky district of the Stavropol Territory, in August 2019. The studies were carried out by a method of data comparative analysis on the infection of animals with strongylatoses of the gastrointestinal tract (by floatation of parasite eggs with an aqueous solution of ammonium nitrate followed coproscopy) before and 15 days after dosing, and by the presence of clinical signs of estrosis (nasal discharge) before and 5 days after giving the drug. For the experiment, 5 groups from 100 ewe lambs 2018 born with a weight of 38-40 kg (n=20) were formed, of which 20 animals did not receive the drug and served as a control group, and 4 groups (0,2 ml/10 kg; 0,4 ml/10 kg; 0,6 ml/10 kg; 0,8 ml/10 kg) were formed to determine the effectiveness of doses from the remaining animals. The suspension was given to animals once individually. It was found that a 0,5%-s’ suspension of Ivermectin at a dose of 0,2 ml/10 kg of animal weight showed low EE and IE (70 and 75%), and already at higher doses (0,4; 0,6; 0,8 ml/10 kg of animal weight) it showed 100%-s’ EE and IE. And in relation to estrosis, 100%-s’ EE showed doses of 0,6 and 0,8 ml/10 kg of animal weight. The recommended doses of this drug for strongylatoses of gastrointestinal tract are 0,4 ml/10 kg of animal weight, and for estrosis it is 0,6 ml/10 kg of animal weight.
