In modern poultry farming, the search for and implementation of protein and biologically active substance sources that can enhance production economic efficiency without compromising product quality, have become particularly relevant. The aim of the research was to develop a new vitamin and mineral formula, “Innovation-BAC,” based on the hydrolysis and cavitation processing of African black soldier fly (Hermetia Illucens L.) larvae for poultry feeding to improve their survival and productivity. The research was conducted in 2024 at the “Papov Safarbii Bakhcherievich” agricultural enterprise in the village of Koshekhabl, Republic of Adygea, using broiler chickens of “COBB 500 FF” cross. The experimental poultry received a developed protein-vitamin-mineral supplement based on hydrolysed Hermetia illucens L. larvae in their drinking water at a rate of 0,5 l/t during the first 3 weeks and at a rate of 1,0 l/t from the 22 nd to the 37 th day of rearing. The use of the developed supplement resulted in the following zootechnical and economic parameters: increased flock survival to 98 %, average daily weight gain – by more than 60 g, and a reduction in feed consumption per 1 kg of live weight gain to 1,5 kg. The high nutritional and taste characteristics of meat, including tenderness, juiciness, and flavor, are also noted, which increase its market value. This biologically active supplement based on hydrolysed Hermetia illucens L. larvae is a highly effective feed for poultry farming, and its technology is ready for industrial-scale implementation to increase the profitability of meat production.
