PRODUCTIVITY AND PROFITABILITY OF NARROW-LEAFED LUPIN CULTIVATION WITH THE APPLICATION OF MINERAL FERTILIZERS

In order to provide livestock with complete, balanced feed, it is necessary to increase the proportion of leguminous crops, including annual ones, in the forage field. In terms of protein content and its quality, lupine occupies a leading position among annual leguminous crops. Narrow-leaved lupine (Lupinus angustifolius L.) is a new crop for the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Its cultivation technology is being tested in the region. In a field experiment, which was conducted on the experimental field of the Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University in 2020 – 2022, in the Krasnoyarsk forest-steppe zone on leached chernozem, which had a high level of productive potential, the effect of mineral fertilizers on the yield of narrow-leaved lupine was studied, and the profitability of production was calculated. The narrow-leaved lupine variety Vitiaz was planted in a grain-fallow crop rotation. The forecrop was an oat-pea mix. The experimental variants included: control (without the use of fertilizers); ammophos (N8P35), ammophos + potassium sulfate (N8P35K35), ammophos + potassium sulfate + ammonium nitrate (N30P35K35), ammophos + potassium sulfate + ammonium sulfate (N30P35K35). Before sowing in 2020, the soil of the experimental field was characterized by a low supply of nitrate nitrogen (4,74 mg/kg), a very low level of ammonium nitrogen (0,50 mg/kg), an average supply of mobile phosphorus (175,8 mg/kg according to Chirikov), very high – exchangeable potassium (291,0 mg/kg according to Chirikov). In 2021, the soil supply with basic macroelements was assessed as very high; in 2022 – the content of nitrogen and exchangeable potassium was very high, and the content of mobile phosphorus was increased. On average, during the observation period, the lupine grain yield on unfertilized plots was 15,5 dt/ha. A significant decrease in crop productivity in relation to the control was noted in the ammophos + potassium sulfate variant – 14,1 dt/ha (LSD05 = 1,2). In other variants, the use of mineral fertilizers did not have a statistically significant effect on the formation of the cultivar yield. The use of fertilizers reduced the profitability of production.
