RULES FOR REGISTRATION OF SUBMITTED MANUSCRIPTS IN THE AGRICULTURAL JOURNAL

RULES FOR THE PUBLICATION OF SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES
When preparing articles for publication in the journal "Agricultural Journal", we recommend following the following rules.
The article should correspond to the main scientific directions of the journal. It is necessary to specify the cipher of the scientific specialty and the direction of research (https://orensau.ru/images/stories/docs/izvestia/nomenklatura_nauch_spec_2022.docx )
The materials are provided in electronic form at the e-mail address pogodaev_1954@mail.ru , in the Word editor. The volume of the main text of the article is from 8 to 15 pages of A4 format with margins – upper and lower 2 cm, left and right 2.5 cm; font "Times New Roman"; size 12; interval 1.0. The letter "e" should be printed in the text.
• For a scientific article, its index according to the universal decimal classification (UDC) and the cipher of the scientific specialty are determined.
• The title (no more than 12 words) is written in lowercase letters;
it must contain the main words characterizing the content of the article.
• Information about the authors should include (for each author): first name, patronymic, surname; personal email address, orcid (personal international identifier of the scientific author ("Open Researcher and Contributor ID"); find out or get orcid at:
https://sibac.info/blog/instrukciya-po-registracii-v-orcid-dlya-avtorov.
• The authors' places of work (official names of organizations, without postal address) are listed in the order of the authors, indicating only the city and country.
• Abstract (abstract:
1. The volume of the abstract should be 1000-2000 characters (200-250 words).
2. The title of the article is not repeated at the beginning of the abstract.
3. The abstract is not divided into paragraphs and is presented in one solid text. 4. The structure of the abstract should briefly reflect the structure of the article and necessarily contain: the introductory part; the place of research; the results of the study.
4.1. The introductory part in terms of volume should be minimal.
4.2. The place of research is specified to the region, the edge.
4.3. The presentation of the results should contain specific information (conclusions, recommendations, etc.).
5. Within the abstract, the introduction of abbreviations is allowed when the concept of 2-3 words is replaced by an abbreviation of the corresponding number of letters. For the first time, the phrase is given in full, and the abbreviation is indicated next to it in parentheses. Numerals, if they are not the first word, are transmitted in digits. The use of abbreviations and complex formatting elements (for example, upper and lower indexes) is not allowed. It is strictly forbidden to insert through the "Symbol" menu, a line break sign, a soft hyphenation sign, automatic word wrapping.
6. When translating the abstract into English, the use of machine translation is not allowed. All Russian abbreviations are given in deciphered form if they have no stable analogues in English (for example: WTO-WTO; FAO-FAO, etc.)
Keywords (8-10 words and phrases) and a link for citation.
All the above information is provided in Russian and English.
The article is drawn up according to the sample. Drawings (graphic material) should be made in a form that provides clarity in the transmission of all details. Tables are presented in Word format (it is not advisable to place tables in landscape sheet format), formulas – in the MathType formula editor.
Tables and figures should have a name and end-to-end numbering. All tables and figures should be referenced in the text. The numbering of formulas is on the right side in parentheses.
The necessary subheadings in the text of the article can be typed in bold. Only terms (in Latin) are italicized in the text of the article.
The article should be structured: the sections "Introduction" are highlighted in bold (with justification of the relevance, novelty and degree of study of the issue, the purpose and objectives of the study); "Research material and methods" (a detailed description of methods, experimental/observation schemes, materials, instruments, equipment and other research conditions); "Research results and their discussion" (actual results of the study; tables, graphs, diagrams, equations, photographs, drawings and their analysis; compliance of the results obtained with the hypothesis of the study; suggestions for practical application, in the direction of future research); "Conclusion" (brief results of the study without repeating the formulations given in the sections of the article).
The list of sources should be issued in the form of a general list in accordance with GOST R 7.0.5–2008 (see the section "Cross-text bibliographic reference"). The serial number of the link is indicated in the text in square brackets. The list is formed in the order of citation. The volume of the list of sources is 15-25. When writing an article, the priority sources of citation should be monographs and articles from journals included in the core of the RSCI (i.e. journals indexed in Web of Science, Scopus or RSCI) for the last 5 years, put down the DOI or EDN of each, if available (see in the database eLIBRARY.RU ). It is not recommended to include textbooks and manuals in the list of sources.
The list of sources in English (References) must correspond to Russian. In Russian-language sources, the title of the article may not be translated, but translated. The titles of the journals in English must correspond to the original stated on the official website of the journal.
The article in the same file is accompanied by reference information about each author: full name, academic degree, title, position, place of work (official, current at the time of writing the name of the organization), email address, phone number in Russian and English.
The last page of the manuscript of the article should contain information about the contribution of each author to the preparation of the article (scientific guidance; writing the source text; revision of the text; final conclusions). Regardless of the number of authors, the last page must be certified with the personal signatures of the author/authors and an indication that the article is submitted to print for the first time.
The articles are checked for anti-plagiarism (the originality of the article must be at least 70%) and the review procedure (double-blind). A negative review and the use of borrowed material in the article without reference to the author and (or) the source of the borrowing is the basis for refusal to publish.
The author is legally and otherwise responsible for the content of the article.
Submission of materials to the editorial department is a definitive action. The author's consent to the publication of the material on the conditions specified in the information, as well as to its placement in electronic versions of the journal is assumed (Civil Code of the Russian Federation, Articles 158, 1286).

Materials submitted to the editorial office are subject to expert evaluation.

The editorial board reserves the right to shorten and correct accepted works. Articles sent to authors for correction should be returned to the editorial office no later than one month after receiving them with the changes made.

The author transfers the rights to the publication and guarantees that it is original, i.e. neither the article nor its drawings have been published in other publications, and also gives consent to the processing of his personal data.

Authors of articles published in the collection receive a printed copy of the journal.

Manuscripts that are not written in accordance with these rules will not be considered.

No royalties are paid.
